Sauvie Island: Vintage Images and New Landscape
Summers on Savuie Island are beautiful. I had made an image of wheat fields and a single cloud toward the end of the summer in 2008. During Autumn I was photographing with Logan Clark, a former student and friend, at his ancestral grave site on Sauvies. We began to collaborate on a project which combines vintage images from his family collection taken in the early 1900's, and new landscapes.
